Another pay freeze extension bill in the wings

A Republican legislator has suggested extending the federal pay freeze, drawing barbs from a federal union leader who called the bill “a political ploy.”

Congress is all millionaires anyway and they have never had to live paycheck to paycheck. Fine, freeze the federal wages, but their wages should be frozen just a long. AND they need to save the American people money and get on the same health insurance plan as they are. Congress are federal workers but yet they don't want the health insurance that the federal workers in the trenches have. You can bet their health insurance is costing the American people a lot of money.

I am a federal worker and this idea to extend the federal pay freeze is just ridiculous! My health insurance has gone up $45.00 per month, gas, groceries, and essentials have all gone up and my pay keeps shrinking!! How much longer are good people supposed to put up with this nonsense! Cut the House and Congressional pay and benefits if you want to make an impact. Cutting the GS4-GS7 pay any more will put me in the poor house!!
