USDA offers buyouts and early outs
The Agriculture Department announced that it has gotten approval to offer buyouts to 1,996 Rural Development employees, according to Government Executive.
The department also is offering early outs under a voluntary early retirement authority to “nearly all” early retirement-eligible Rural Development employees. The offers can be used together. Applications for the VSIPs and/or VERAs must be received by Oct. 31. Those who accept must separate by Dec. 3.
